Bloggers, the technosexual generation?! March 22, 2007

According to the communication blog ‘The Spotlight Effect‘ bloggers are true trendsetters, critical, influential and provocative writers. The blog remarks another ‘typical’ blogger-characteristic, namely a lack of modesty. They add that therefore marketeers are extremely interested in this new generation, which – by the way – has been baptised as the ‘technosexual generation’. (Sounds a bit cheesy, doesn’t it? I don’t really want to be called a technosexual, ieuw ;) ).
Anyways, even fashion ‘gooroo’ Calvin Klein now addresses bloggers. The fashion empire CK namely developped a new fragrance, especially for the young blogging crowd: CKin2u.
Will this new generation – who is said to be critical and provocative – simply accept this marketing stunt or will they write their honest opinions on it on their blogs? Something to keep an eye on ;)
